Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pathway, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the Platform.

Platform Purpose

Pathway is designed to facilitate introductions and connections between mentors and mentees participating in entrepreneurship, workforce, education, leadership, and professional development programs.

The Platform provides matching recommendations and communication tools but does not guarantee outcomes, results, employment, funding, business success, or mentorship effectiveness.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• •Provide accurate information
• •Use the Platform professionally and respectfully
• •Maintain appropriate communications with other users
• •Comply with all applicable laws and organizational policies
• •Respect confidentiality when appropriate

Users are responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from mentorship relationships.

Mentorship Relationships

Pathway facilitates introductions only.

SGA and participating organizations:

• •Do not supervise mentorship conversations
• •Do not provide legal, financial, tax, investment, employment, or mental health advice through the Platform
• •Do not guarantee the quality, availability, or suitability of any mentor or mentee
• •Are not responsible for actions taken by participants outside of the Platform

Mentors and mentees are solely responsible for determining whether a mentorship relationship is appropriate.

AI-Assisted Matching

The Platform may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to recommend potential mentor and mentee matches.

These recommendations are suggestions only and may be reviewed, approved, modified, or rejected by program administrators.

No guarantee is made regarding the accuracy or effectiveness of AI-generated recommendations.

Communications

By participating in Pathway, users consent to receiving communications related to:

• •Match notifications
• •Scheduling coordination
• •Program updates
• •Surveys and feedback requests
• •Administrative notices

Users may opt out of certain non-essential communications.

Intellectual Property

All software, content, branding, designs, workflows, and materials associated with Pathway remain the property of Skills Gap Advocate or its licensors.

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell the Platform without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skills Gap Advocate, its partners, licensors, employees, contractors, and participating organizations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

Account Suspension or Removal

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform for users who:

• •Violate these Terms
• •Misrepresent information
• •Engage in inappropriate conduct
• •Interfere with platform operations

Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
